The Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) will be organising a Two Days' "Framework-based IFRS Teaching Workshop for the teachers and trainers of IFRS on June 14 and 15, 2015.The resource persons are from IASB and IFRS Foundation.Interested individuals may apply directly to MASB for registration and other information at www.masb.org.my or e-mail to events@masb.org.my

Dear Coys,

JUSTLINE International, Malaysia will be organizing training on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS) tentatively from 1-10th April 2014. The resource person for the training is Professor Hentie, past-president of International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).

The AASBB Secretariat has negotiated the fee at USD 1500.00 per participant for a group of more than five persons. The interested participants may consult with their respective management and inform the AASBB Secretariat for further discussion and arrangement. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AASBB SECRETARIAT WILL NOT FUND YOUR TRAINING PROGRAM.

Dear All,

Since capacity development is important for one and all involved in the implementation of Bhutanese Accounting Standards and BAS for SMEs at this point of time, the AASBB Secretariat is exploring every possibility to arrange training on IFRS within and outside the country. However, due to non availability of funds we are not in a position to organize particularly ex-country training. If the agencies are coming forward to provide funds for the capacity building of their staffs, the Secretariat can discuss with the Professional Accountancy Organizations within the country or outside to conduct the training at the reasonable fee.

Would appreciate if the information as and when there is any workshop/seminar/conference on IFRS in 2014 in Bhutan and outside Bhutan could be shared with implementing companies.
